I was home for two weeks after my moto ride and before heading back up to Alaska for the winter.
The Studio is where I sleep, work, write, and read. (I mostly just cook in Serenity these days). I spend a lot of time in it. In a 120sf space it’s easy for the level of clutter to get out of hand… particularly if you don’t have any real storage infrastructure.
I couldn’t take it anymore. I built myself some cabinets.
Much better.
They’re quite simple: 2x2 and 1x2 frames with face cabinets fashioned from planed cedar fenceboards. I repurposed a tabletop I got from a friend for part of the counter. The other part is some extra OSB with left-over floor tiles that fit nicely. The shelves are from left-over floorboards from Serenity (yes, I held on to the leftovers for 7 years. Worth it.)
